Astoria Scuba is here for you. Whether you are a Professional Working Diver, a Sport Scuba Diver, a First Responder, an Outdoorsman or just in town for the day, Astoria Scuba has the right equipment and the training for any mission or activity. We're a NAUI Pro-Platinum training facility, the highest facility rating NAUI offers, based right in downtown Astoria at 1442 Commercial St.
Get new equipment or certify and test the old ones. If you are interested in SCUBA diving but do not know how, we also offer classes (minimum age of 12) ranging from beginner to Master Diver and Instructor Training Courses. SCUBA diving and water sports are great to help keep active, and when done correctly is not strenuous, but relaxing. Astoria Scuba pursues the best possible prices for all its equipment and rentals.
Courses for Every Level
Our course lineup covers the full path, whether you're taking your first breath underwater or working toward a career in diving. That includes Introduction to Scuba, Open Water Diver certification, Advanced Open Water, Scuba Refresher, Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, and specialty courses like Enriched Air Nitrox, Drysuit, Search & Recovery, Deep Diver, and Night Diver. For divers headed toward the professional side, we also teach Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Instructor training, plus DAN safety courses like Oxygen First Aid, AED training, and Diving First Aid for Professional Divers.
Real Pacific Northwest Conditions
Training here means training for real Pacific Northwest water: cold temperatures, current, and lower visibility than you'll find in a tropical destination. Every certification we teach still travels with you anywhere in the world, so whether you end up diving the Columbia River, the Oregon coast, or a reef somewhere warm on your next vacation, you'll be ready for it.
Gear, Rentals, and Service
Beyond training, we sell and rent dive gear, including drysuits, and handle equipment servicing like regulator work and tank testing. If your gear needs a check before your next trip, or you need to rent something you don't own yet, this is the shop for it.

Astoria has a long history as a working port town at the mouth of the Columbia River, an area sailors have nicknamed the "Graveyard of the Pacific" for its notoriously rough conditions.
